Q: How far in advance
should I register my wedding?
A: In most instances you should register
your wedding as soon as possible. There are peak times during
the year that you should book earlier than others. To allow
your guys plenty of time to get measured, try to register at
least 2 months in advance.
Q: Is it ever too late to register my wedding or rent a tuxedo?
A: At Top Hat, since we carry our entire
inventory on the premises, it is never too late to register
your party or rent a tuxedo
Q: Should the groom wear something different from the
rest of the party?
A: The groom will usually wear a white
or ivory vest and tie to match the bride’s dress. Traditionally,
there are different looks for the other members of the wedding
party as well: the groomsmen, fathers, and ring bearer will
each look slightly different
Q: My wedding party has some very large individuals and a small
ring bearer. Can you fit them?
A: Top Hat carries tuxedos from a boy’s
3 to a men’s 68 long and can accommodate even larger sizes
if necessary. So, you can relax, we’ve got your men covered.
Q: How do I handle the guys in my wedding that are coming from
out of town?
A: Have your guys go into any formalwear
shop near where they live and ask for a complimentary fitting
for an out of town wedding. Forward the information to Top Hat
by mail, phone, fax or through our “send us your sizes”
link on our website. The tuxedos will be ready for them on the
day of pickup.
Q: Are designer tuxedos really different? Aren’t
all tuxedos the same?
A: Each manufacturer has certain patterns
and fit requirements that make them fit and look the way they
do. However, more important is the way each tuxedo will look
